Welcome to the relational view conference 2022
Welcome to the conference “Cooperating in value-creating networks - A relational view”.
This is the first time that the conference is being held in Paris!
The academic goal of the conference is to give established scholars, in particular, the opportunity to explore the research field of relational economics. The conference will take place on September 8 and 9, 2022 on the ESSEC campus in Cergy and aims to have a fixed number of up to 50 participants.
There will also be a PhD Workshop on September 6 and 7, 2022 at the same location to give young scholars the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the research program of relational economics.
With the initial conference in 2019 under the title "The Relational View of Economics. A New Research Agenda for the Study of Relational Transactions”, the work on the interdisciplinary research program of Relational Economics has gained traction.
Relational economics is an interdisciplinary research program which focuses on value creation through long-term intersectoral collaborations among political, business, and civil society players in terms of their productive governance. Economic and social value creation in modern economies is, according to the basic idea, organized in networks of companies, science, civil society, and other stakeholders. These are "regio-global networks" because regional and global cooperation are interconnected and mutually influence each other.
Therefore we will discuss the topics listed here:
